Easy Going Glamour at South Eden Plantation in Thomasville, Georgia

July 13, 2021

When rain was forecasted for Lauren & Landon’s wedding day, tents went up and everyone’s fingers (and toes!) were crossed for the big day.  The rain stopped nearly an hour before the start of the ceremony, blue skies and sunshine came just in time.

Lauren looked like a princess straight out of a fairytale book.  Her wedding gown was adorned with beading that sparkled when she walked down the aisle. She had the wonderful styling duo of Pearl and Honey Salon and Haus of Beauty, creating a beautiful spring-appropriate makeup look, while Erin Stoner took care of her effortless, half-up and half-down hairstyle.

The pair told us they wanted to make sure that they “seize the moment and didn’t get too caught up in the big production of things. At the end of the day, it’s just about the love we have for each other and we both want to make sure that doesn’t get overlooked on our big day.”  Landon and Lauren kept true to their statement above.  Their wedding day was all about the love they shared. And it was also very apparent how much they were loved and supported by family and friends.

Immediately following the first look, Landon asked Lauren to twirl around for him.  But this doesn’t surprise us as the groom is known for his attention to detail.  When it came to popping the question, the groom thought of every detail to surprise his bride-to-be.  “Landon knew I would want my hair, makeup and nails done, and a cute outfit on so he found the perfect way to make it happen!” Landon reached out to their soon-to-be wedding photographer, Amber Brogdon and planned a romantic sunset photoshoot on Panama City Beach.

After their ceremony was sealed with a kiss, it was time for guests to head to social hour.  Lauren & Landon selected a fancy signature cocktail of cotton candy and champagne.  This drink was as sweet as the newly weds! Their reception design featured their white and gold color palette, the tables were set with white table cloths, gold chargers, cascading greenery and candles.

Altogether this Spring time wedding was nothing short of perfection.  Congratulations, Lauren & Landon!
